Writing Event at CP&R

CP&R will be co-hosting with literary agency Books & Such (Santa Rosa, CA) a second rendition of So You Want to Write a Book: A seminar series on the business of writing. Founder Janet Kobobel Grant will be returning to campus with one of her colleagues on March 23-24 to lead the seminar.

So You Want to Write a Book takes the students from concept to shelf, explaining the process of developing a book and teaching students about various career opportunities such as writing, editing, marketing, publishing, and sales in six mini-workshops. Each session is 45 minutes long. Students may attend one or all sessions during this two-day visit. This series is open to all 7C students and sponsored by a current parent.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in any part of producing a book whether or not they plan on writing it themselves. They can register via ClaremontConnect (aka Handshake).
